A French teacher has been reported to have been invited by the Police after allegedly making derogatory comments to the president of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills.
The man who is popularly known as ‘High Priest’ was picked up by the Police after referring to the president as a Chimpanzee in a morning discussion show on a Kumasi based radio station, Fox FM.
The man is believed to be a sympathizer of the opposition, NPP and carries himself as a spokesperson of party flag bearer aspirant, Nana Akuffo-Addo.
Irate NDC supporters after hearing the comment were reported to have stormed the premises of Fox FM in an attempt to manhandle him, but for the timely intervention of the Police. Officials of NPP have since not commented on the incidence at the time of filling. |
