DJ Mustard gets Jacquees Remix Of ‘Trip’Removed.
Jacquees has found himself at the end of a cease and desist and had his remix of Ella Mai’s single ‘Trip’ due to the fact that it was doing much better than the original as it accumulated 2 million YouTube views in a short amount of time.
Jacquees was forced to remove it from both YouTube & Soundcloud after it was suspected he could be making profit from the remix. A member from Jacquees team issued a statement making it clear that there is no bad blood between the two artists and how this issue has become controversial for no reason. “We love Ella and are cool with her team as well. He has been releasing not only Quemix songs but entire projects with remixes of other artists’ songs ranging back to 2013. This was an act of genuine support and should not turn into negativity for either of the artist or from their supporters.”
DJ Mustard addressed the situation on his socials explaining that Ella Mai had no control over the remix being down and its simply business.

Let’s hope they use some of the verses from Jacquees version as an official remix as it will be a smart move.
